The kids had a great time at the holiday club this year as they explored the theme of the Ultimate Hero.
Each session was packed full of fun as we thought about Jesus being our Creator, Rescuer and Friend. We raced, played dodgeball, had fun with balloons and created some fun superhero-themed crafts.
It was a lovely three days enjoyed by all. Thanks to all who were involved!
The focus meeting was a great opportunity for church members to come together to discuss various aspects of church life and our activities, giving feedback and putting forward their suggestions. We shared what's going well, how we can improve, and have gathered some fresh ideas for the future. We're excited to see what the Lord will enable us to do going forward!
We went to the beach! ^_^
Berrymead returned to our much-loved seaside getaway, Bournemouth. We were blessed to avoid the heavy rain in other parts of the UK!
July's theme was 'Grace, Love, Fellowship', and it was a lovely time spent together.
The next Worship Night will be in September 2025. Date and theme TBC.
May's theme was 'A New Thing', and we focused on Isaiah 43:18-19. We pondered on the topics of newness, rebirth, preparation, and readiness, specifically in relation to what God is preparing us for as a church as well as individuals. The songlist included God Will Make A Way, Refiner's Fire and Living Sacrifice, all great songs that linked with the theme.
All in all, it was a great evening!
The next Worship Night will be in July 2025. Date and theme TBC.
Our week of prayer was a great way to spend Holy Week as we prayed for various topics and people, realigning our focus and equipping ourselves to pray more effectively in various seasons and situations.
A group of us from Berrymead joined some friends from Brighton, Bournemouth and Frinton on a fundraising walk to raise money for Mano & Mano. The charity works with children and young people in Ecuador, and is currently working on building some new classrooms.
The group included those taking on either a 10- or 20-mile challenge, starting at Kew Bridge and ending at Westminster or trekking all the way to Greenwich! We thank you for your prayers for the day, and are grateful to God for the lovely weather we had. It was a tough walk, but we all successfully completed our respective goals!

We had a wonderful time in Long Crendon, hearing from Chris Vaz as he shared God's word and spoke about different themes. We learnt about what it means to "carry a different spirit" - how as Christians we can have a Godly perspective in different situations, and how God comes through in unexpected situations with His supernatural provision.
We had a lovely long lunch break, and were able to enjoy walking around the village in the sunshine. All in all, it was a blessed day and a great time spent together away from the hustle and bustle of London.
Our next Awayday to Long Crendon will be in October 2025!
