As always, our carol service was a great evening. We sang old carols and newer Christmas songs, all coupled with a scripture passage telling the story of Jesus' birth. It was a great time to focus on the reason for the season while making a joyful noise together, accompanied by piano, guitar and even saxophone, which was a real treat! And of course, it was all done by the beautiful light of candles (and a few lamps!)
The programme was followed by some socialising over teas, coffees and mince pies. :)

We recently had a lovely evening of worship, marking one year of Worship Night at Berrymead. The theme was Yesterday, Today, Forever: looking back, looking up & around, and looking forward. We focused on the fact that Jesus Christ - who never changes - has been, is, and always will be with us. We looked at several Scripture verses, each followed by a corresponding song or hymn.
It was a blessed time, and we aim to run this worship event every two to three months.
